Margie Taft has been a commercial real estate broker in the Coachella Valley since 1975. She has been very instrumental in the start-up of hundreds of companies throughout the Coachella Valley as well as being an active leader in local community organizations.
Taft's leadership roles include serving as the former president of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, former President of the Palm Springs Rotary Club, past board member on the Mizell Senior Center Board, and member of the Cathedral City Public Art Commission.
While President of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, Taft led a local delegation to the 1986 World’s Fair in Vancouver, Canada. She also initiated the First Farmer’s Market Street Fair in Palm Springs, and many other notable special events.
Professionally, Taft has property managed two regional malls in the Coachella Valley and played a major role in the redevelopment of the Desert Fashion Plaza Mall. Her resume also includes the property management wing of a court receivership in the Coachella Valley.
As a Coachella Valley based brokerage company, Taft and Associates began in 1999. Margie Taft is the principal and dedicated to providing excellent service to her clients. A smaller boutique firm, Taft and Associates provides full service commercial real estate services. The goal in all their assignments is to understand the clients’ needs and to formulate and carry out creative real estate solutions that enable the clients to operate with more productivity and profitability.
